Learning teaching process in basic sciences with innovative technologies for the appropriation of knowledge in Universidad Libre engineering faculty

The Basic Sciences in Engineering, they are a significant pillar for the development of the future engineer's growth. Besides, due to the relation among different areas such as humanities, physics, mathematics, chemistry, graphic expression and languages, it is remarkable how goals keep being achieved by means of professional development. Hence, different techniques or pedagogical strategies are applied to enhance both, theoretical and practical competencies within the teaching-learning process.
Therefore, a great strategy is the development of the "Day of Innovation and Invention", where students of first and second semester seek to put the concepts into practice. Thus, students tend to explore the applicability of their ideas through problem-solving concerned with real situations, in this way, they enhance the interdisciplinarity between the different fields of knowledge and the symbolic capital of engineering.
