Abstract

This project evaluated the performance of eucalyptus and a mixture of different biomass during the gasification process. Biomass was characterized by proximate and ultimate analysis, determination of functional groups by FTIR, thermo gravimetric analysis, and heating value. The results allow establishing that eucalyptus presents a better performance than the mixture of biomass in terms of calorific value.
