Abstract

The main result of this article is that poor and emerging economies are characterized by having as measured in the period 2001-2013 a rate greater than that of Entrepreneurial Activity countries whose economies are driven by innovation. Contrary to intuition, this fact should not be filled with pride to any government, let alone the people of these economies. If it is an important result as it brings out as the structural problems of emerging and poor economies determines the routing of entrepreneurial activity of a nation. The aim of this article is to perform a statistical analysis - Descriptive worldwide on magnitudes 508 have been measured in early Total Entrepreneurial Activity (TEA) variable. 508 data corresponding to 70 countries that have carried out the GEM research in the time interval 2001 - 2013. measures of central tendency and dispersion for understanding the behavior of early entrepreneurial activity in these almost 15 years of GEM were used and determine the differences between geographic regions and stages of economic development.
