ETHICAL PRINCIPLES

The Cultura del Cuidado Journal receives only manuscripts with six authors as maximum. Authorship credit must be given only to people that have contributed intellectually to the development of the work. To be considered an author, a person should have met the following conditions:

Conception of experiments or obtention of data.

Crafting the article or revising the text.

Final approval of the version sent for evaluation to the Journal.

The Journal declines any responsibility for possible conflicts derived from the authorship of the published works. All authors must send signed the form "Declaration of Commitment of the authors", available on the page of the Journal.

The Cultura del Cuidado Journal follows the guidelines of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics, http://publicationethics.org/files/u2/New_Code.pdf). Authors must declare sources of funding and possible conflict of interest.

The Cultura del Cuidado Journal does not accept previously published articles -partially or totally- and will not consider for publication manuscripts that are simultaneously sent to other journals, or duplicate publications, i.e. articles that substantially overlap another document published on print or electronic media.

Each article submitted to the Journal will be verified with internal procedures to avoid plagiarism and duplication of articles (Turnitin Software).

Peer reviewers on The Cultura del Cuidado Journal must focus on enhancing the quality of the manuscript. Within the deadlines established, the reviewing process may include new points of view and data.

Authors who submit articles to Cultura del Cuidado Journal must guarantee that their procedures and methodologies comply with international ethical codes of scientific research in human beings. The authors must sign 'commitment declaration' format, which must be submitted along with the manuscript for review. (See Annex)
