Abstract

The following some reflections arising from the seminar “Borges and Philosophy” led by professor Julian Serna Arango, within the Master’s Degree in Literature at the University of Technology in Pereira. It is a bet by the contemporary art as a pillar deconstructing of the dualisms classics, inherited from the philosophical tradition platonic-aristotelian and the monotheism, with which it has forged our culture, our taxonomies and our assessments. For such an initiative we will study the behavior of the irony and random elements as deconstructivs within some works of the two authors more representative of the art, Jorge Luis Borges in the field literary and the creator of ready-made Marcel Duchamp
