Abstract

Fahr syndrome or toothed pale striated calcinosis is a strange disease related to intracerebral calcifications and as- sociated with movement and behavioral disorders. This article is a description of a case in 43 years old patient who showed motor deficit, imaging findings showed calcifications in the basal ganglia and cortex, without alterations in mineral metabolism, Fahr syndrome was diagnosed and began medical management with gradual improvement of symptoms.
