The study of climate variations is a line of current and world-wide research. Knowing which are the causes that affect climate variability requires long-term databases, as well as high spatial resolution, which also allows us to know spatial differences. This research describes the generation of a database of the mean seasonal temperature in mainland Spain to study the trend and spatial variability of them. In this study, quality control, reconstruction and spatial interpolation are carried out, and subsequently the trend is obtained with the Mann Kendall statistic test. The analysis shows that in summer the maximum increase in mean temperatures takes place. From a spatial point of view, the greatest increase in temperatures takes place on the east coast of mainland Spain that borders the Mediterranean Sea.
