Important Factors and Aspects about QoE Evaluation Relating to Video Streaming Service
Keywords:
QoC, QoE, QoS, Video Streaming, MD5Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of how the finaldevice and interruptions affect the assessment ofQuality of Experience (QoE) when a user makesuse of streaming video service which was achievedby surveying 60 students who watched a video individuallyfor 1.53 minutes at one of the two devicesiPad1 iPhone4 twice, leaving the first one preloadthe data buffer 15 seconds and the second leavinghim totally preload, and based on the results wasobserved that the user qualifies the devices basedon the expectation , the interruptions have differenteffects depending of QoE evaluation device. To continue this work finally recommends checkingvariables such as screen size and resolutionin order to determine how the user perceive theservice depending on the change of these variables
