Step-by-step for manuscript submission:

To submit a manuscript to the journal Advocatus, authors must follow the procedure below on the OJS platform:

1. Register on the journal’s platform.
2. Start a new submission.
3. Select the language of the article.
4. Enter the title of the article.
5. Select the section of the journal to which the manuscript is being submitted.
6. In the “Submission Checklist”, select the option: “Yes, my submission meets all these requirements”.
7. In “Submit as”, select the option “Author”.
8. In “Privacy Consent”, accept the processing of personal data in accordance with the journal’s policy.
9. Click on “Start a Submission”. The first step, “Submission Details”, will open.
10. Select the “English” option to enable the fields in this language.
11. Complete all required fields and click “Continue”. Keywords must be entered one by one, pressing the Enter key.
12. In the second step (Upload Files), click “Add Files” and upload the manuscript. Select the file type as “Article Text”.
13. Click “Continue”.
14. In the third step (Contributors), select the “English” option, then click “Add Contributor” and complete the required fields. The ORCID must be entered in the format: https://orcid.org/xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx. Repeat this process for each author and then click “Continue”.
15. In the fourth step (For the Editors), include additional comments if applicable. Otherwise, leave the field blank and click “Continue”.
16. In the fifth step, review the entered information and click “Submit” to complete the process.

The journal Advocatus does not charge article processing charges (APC) or submission fees. All editorial processes, from evaluation to publication, are carried out at no cost to the authors.
