Argumentation theory , rhetoric and hermeneutics: a “ family album “ a review

The argumentation that involves to expose and giving reasons of something to someone or before someone, and that in most cases takes place in the course of a conversation or a discursive interaction between two or more agents -as long as the intention is convince or persuade someone through arguments or justifications- has much to do with philosophical hermeneutics that gives priority to understanding, dialogue and interpretation, and the rhetorical approach that emphasizes the process of induction of beliefs, actions or attitudes of the addressee. Therefore, and taking into account some aspects of argumentation theory and philosophical hermeneutics H.-G. Gadamer, we will do an approach to this problem like if it were a “family album”, considering that we can place in the same album “snapshots” of: contemporary argumentation theories, the new rhetoric and Gadamer’s philosophical hermeneutics.
