Focus and scope
Among the most relevant elements of the publications in ADVOCATUS, three dimensions can be cited: the axiological, that is, addressing the problem of the legal from this aspect involves verifying its teleological function, that is, the correspondence or not of values ??and purposes of law; the regulations it seeks, seeks the confrontation of law over the same law, in a metalanguage that questions and reflects on the same legal system, its inconsistencies; and the factual one in this case analyzes the social fact in two ways: on the one hand, the facts that give birth to law and, on the other, the impact of the norm on society, without ever neglecting legal dogmatics first. , that is to say, the one whose object is to study law and second, the socio-legal approach, that is, the connection of Law with other social and human knowledge, including economics, politics, sociology, criminology, culture, with in order to establish the relationships between positive legal regulations and social realities.
Peer review process
The journal, with the consent of the author or authors, will make the necessary editorial changes to give the article the greatest possible clarity, precision and coherence. Consequently, authors are recommended to write with the utmost rigor, using good spelling, making clear and homogeneous paragraphs and seeking to use punctuation marks accurately. Redundancy in the text and repetitive use of acronyms should be avoided.
The articles are submitted to anonymous evaluation of at least two national or international pairs. Once the proposed document has been evaluated, the author or authors will receive the evaluation for review and adjustment. They will have a deadline set by the editor of the magazine to return the article duly revised. In the opinion of the first evaluators and the editorial team, the corrected article may be submitted for new evaluation by the first evaluators and evaluators, or by other different ones.
Once the article is published in the journal's OJS (Open Journal System), all authors agree to the "Assignment of Copyright" to the journal if the article is approved for publication. This assignment agreement allows the publisher team to protect the material on behalf of the authors without them giving up their authorship rights. The transfer of copyright includes the exclusive rights of reproduction and distribution of the article, including the reprints, the photocopied reproductions, in electronic or other formats, as well as the translations.
The journal's OJS (Open Journal System) allows online communication so that the authors of the journal can be aware of the status of their work.
Open access policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that giving the public free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge.
