Abstract

Establish a serious discussion on Curriculum, is to delve into a subject that has fully transcended to the best minds in the areas related to pedagogy, didactics, teaching practices and the teaching and learning process, among other aspects related to educational. This paper has two purposes: The first is to reformulate the definition of curriculum through the transcription, adaptation, expansion, development and transformation of the concept issued by two theoretical references such as Stephen Kemmis and Lawrence Stenhouse, from which we will extract conclusions that could be validated for the progress of the concept. The second is to carry out a study of the real or lived Curriculum and expose it from the Curriculum traditional concepts that allows us to draw a contrast with the purpose of being able to measure what happens in institutions, a contrast that we will try to elaborate through the thought of Gimeno Sacristán, Lawrence Stenhouse and Raewyn Connell.
