The design of strategies to strengthen the Free University of Colombia, the publication of scientific articles in specialized and indexed journals, with national and international impact, must involve, in addition to the free university axiological and teleological framework, interdisciplinary elements and variables , contextual, and institutional. An associated dimension is the quality and number of existing journals, the tradition and culture that they promote in the academic community and in the publication of a greater number of articles. Some of the aforementioned factors are the object of reflection here.
