Evolution of the Solidary Sector in Colombia

Abstract

The objective of this article is to show to the academic community the evolution and importance of the solidarity economy in Colombia, takingas reference the social and historical facts that gave rise to the creation of institutions which took the cooperative association and the solidarity as base of their main activities and as a result they fomented the development in the less favored areas of the various regions of the country to this day.
