Revisión teórica de la investigación en Desigualdad y Educación

La desigualdad y educación durante años ha sido tema de mayor importancia debido a que el nivel educativo y el desempeño laboral son base fundamental para el desarrollo de una nación, nivel que no es equitativo ya que algunas personas no cuentan con poder adquisitivo para acceder a una educación superior (E.S), aunque algunos autores pueden afirmar que acceder a estos estudios no solo se deriva de temas monetarios sino también del nivel de escolaridad de su entorno familiar, incrementando la desigualdad tanto en temas económicos como educativos. El presente artículo es un mapeo científico de las investigaciones sobre la desigualdad y la educación registradas en Scopus, en un periodo entre 2000-2022, para la cual se utilizan técnicas y herramientas bibliométricas. El tratamiento y proceso de los resultados se realizó por medio de la herramienta R. Se establecieron los autores, paises, revistas, y documentos más relevantes en el tema, clasificados empleando la metáfora del árbol, encontrando los documentos clásicos, estructurales y recientes, en los últimos se identificaron los temas en los cuales se enmarca la investigación sobre la desigualdad y educación, desde años anteriores a la actualidad, informando como estos dos aspectos son parte fundamental del crecimiento de una nación y/o círculo familiar. Así mismo, se genera una agenda para futuros estudios.
