In the framework of the action research, the following project provided knowledge and tools that allow students of seventh and eighth grade from Colegio Integrado Alfonso Gómez Gómez, Galán, Santander prevent school violence that has become one of the most serious problems that some students have to face, within the classroom and the educational establishment to improve the attitudes and inappropriate behaviors that they used to have before the development of the educational campaign and preventive against the school violence that took as reference the standards of citizenship competencies in the implementation of the different strategies and activities which were carried out in two phases. The first is identified with the knowledge that the learners had about the school violence and thus, decrease the failings and the second period, was recognized as victims and perpetrators of school violence and the culmination of the campaign on the part of the students who are chosen as a sample, which allowed to generate awareness and critical thinking, mutual exercising of their creativity and autonomy, with the firm intention to avoid a repeat acts of school violence in the future, and give to know the appropriate ways to be a good citizen.
