Impact on the environment and Social Responsibility for exploration and oil production of the Ecopetrol company in Colombia

Abstract

This article is made in order to identify the impact on the environment of oil extraction practices in some of the regions in Colombia, the consequences of accidental spills and blasting of oil by Part of groups outside the law. Additionally determine the degree of social responsibility implemented by the company Ecopetrol in order to mitigate environmental damage in the country. The issue of Fracking as a means of extraction and the influence of this practice on the environmental issue is addressed.
