Evaluation of the knowledge of health professionals about SOGC in a clinic in the city of Barranquilla in the second half of 2017

Objective: To determine the level of knowledge that the health professional has about the mandatory health quality guarantee system in a clinic in Barranquilla. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive cohort study was carried out in 58 professionals from an IPS in Barranquilla to determine their knowledge of the mandatory system of quality assurance. A survey of a previous study was applied, contextualizing it to the environment with a Cronbach alpha of 0.62. The SPSS software was used for the analysis of the variables, performing a difference test of proportions with level of significance. Results: Professionals who showed knowledge of the mandatory system of the guarantee did not exceed 70% Conclusions: it is necessary a continuous monitoring to health professionals about their knowledge in the quality assurance system.
