Scope
The journal Biociencias is the official means of scientific dissemination of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Free University, Barranquilla Section. The scientific and technological production in the field of Medical and Health Sciences declares its sphere of influence; For this reason, the journal publishes scientific works that seek to increase knowledge, per se, or the direct or indirect solution of problems related to health, from both basic and clinical medicine, health sciences, health biotechnology and other medical sciences. Its purpose is to disseminate knowledge at the regional, national and international levels, focusing on the scientific communities.
The Biosciences Journal is indexed on Dialnet and makes use of the OJS (Open Journal Systems) platform for the publication of its articles. Its publication is biannual: an annual volume with two issues, being published in print and digitally in June and December. The ISSNs of the Journal are ISSN 0124-0110 and e-ISSN 2390-0512.
Objectives of the journal Biociencias:
- Offer a scientific journal with high quality standards and in a universal language, offering users the possibility of exchanging their knowledge, opinions and research results that contribute to the development of the health area in the world.
- Promote the creation of an academic community through the qualified flow of scientific and technological information.
