EditorialAbstract
The crisis sparked by the COVID-19 pandemic has exposed longstanding social vulnerabilities and inequalities, with the most disadvantaged and marginalized groups being the hardest hit, whether due to their class, race, or gender. These groups have faced not only health-related challenges but also social, economic, and educational hardships. The pandemic has revealed a series of difficulties related to virtual education in the country, particularly in public schools and universities. Low digital literacy rates and limited connectivity across the country have presented a significant challenge for governments, educational institutions, and families to ensure that educational processes do not come to a halt.
