Since people, procedures, interests, etc. intervene in scientific research it is necessary that it be carried out taking into account ethical principles that avoid the instrumentalization and the damage that could be done if the research does not appeal to ethical and bioethical principles. As we can see scientific research must respect human dignity and see people in a holistic way, as part of a whole, in this case ecosystems: just as you should not cause harm to the environment, you should not cause it to people. In this sense and in the particular case of Clinical Research it is prescribed that it should be aimed at achieving the wellbeing of people according to the Declaration on Science and the use of scientific knowledge adopted by the World Conference on Science in July 1999. which also considers that the scientist's work should be at the service of peace, development, society, etc.
