Characterization of hospital wastewater

Abstract

In this monograph the characterization of hospital wastewater is identified, that is, how these waters are composed, in this case the parameters that are going to be taken into account are: the DQO, DBO5, pH and some bacteria present in them, this with the objective of knowing the characterization of the wastewater coming from different hospitals, to know what polluted these waters are according to the values that the relation between DQO, DBO5 shows, which indicates if they are of easy biodegradability or on the contrary they are difficult to biodegrade, it also shows certain classes of bacteria which are resistant to different types of medicines.
