About the Journal

Avances is a medium of dissemination of articles of investigation and scientific works in diverse fields of Engineering, published by the Faculty of Engineering of at the Universidad Libre, Sectional Bogotá. Avances, is aimed at the scientific and academic community at national and international level without any profit. The Journal seeks to publish original articles, with great influence and contribution in Engineering, Basic Sciences and Applied Statistics. Avances receives research articles in language Spanish and English. However, other languages would be accepted. The Editorial team works with commitment in the reception, evaluation and publication of the articles, maintaining high standards of quality that guarantee the appropriation, generation and exchange of knowledge for the research, development and innovation.
