Editorial

Advocatus is one of the major tonalities in which the encyclopedic voice of the Free University of Colombia is guided. In this sense, the magazine defends and escorts the spirit of the libertarian philosophical traditions that, through our egregious founders, marked the moral, legal, scientific and pedagogical temper of the Institution.
 

The primary mission of Advocatus is to help cultivate the search for personal freedom through the system of loose discussion in teaching, the contrast of rival ideas in different ideological forums and the opportunity to offer their pages for the purpose of publishing Opinions and theories of the most diverse thematic nature.

The articles follow a selection process based on the typology of the article, then the formal requirements are verified, it is a publication submitted to arbitration, the articles are preselected, then they are sent to the evaluating pairs. Once the concept has been received, it is decided which articles will be published in the respective edition. Priority is given to research, reflection or revision articles.
