				<title>Resumen</title>

				<p>This article focused on analysing the publications of Gender, Work and Organization Journal, which has become a space for socialising research on gender relations in organisations since 1994, considering emerging issues in various countries and labour markets in order to contribute to discussions on this subject. This quantitative research used a bibliometric development in which 318 articles corresponding to 18 issues of the journal between 2020 and 2022 were systematised, with the aim of identifying the most outstanding trends and themes in the journal in order to present a context for the academic community interested in publishing in this area of research. From the analysis of the sample, 12 themes were established that contain 53 sub-themes that interrelate problem axes where qualitative research bets related to: diverse gender issues (34%), feminism (12%), intersectionality (10%) and diversity (10%), the categories that complete the remaining 34% had a participation in the total of works between 1% and 6%, highlighting the growing interest in developing analyzes based on intersectionality and the conditions experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic. Also, it was evidenced that of 712 authors, 427 were women and in terms of the institutional affiliation of the authors they continue to be from universities located in Anglo-Saxon contexts such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and Australia, considering that the GWO journal publishes works written in English.</p>

			<title>1.

			<p>La revista, desde la visión crítica, avanza en estudios cualitativos y cuantitativos, además propone prácticas en contra de todo tipo de discriminación (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B53">Gender, Work and Organization</xref>localizada en Wiley Online Library), es decir, que trabaja y aporta a la transformación social con relación a los problemas de género; por ello se propone una revisión inicial de la revista, que aunque se presenta desde la metodología cuantitativa (bibliometría), pretende contribuir en la identificación de los temas, autores de la revista, respondiendo a la pregunta:</p>

			<p>¿Cuáles son las temáticas y las características de los artículos publicados en GWO Gender, Work and Organizations en los años 2020 y 2022?, para verificar las tendencias de los últimos años.</p>

			<p>Para GWO solo se identifica un estudio bibliométrico realizado con corte al año 2019 cuando la revista cumplió 25 años, realizado por <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B73">Kataria, Kumar &amp; Pandey (2021)</xref>; por tanto, se pretende complementar este estudio previo con otros aspectos como las temáticas abordadas en la revista; además este estudio es de gran interés en el contexto de Colombia porque busca determinar temáticas y discusiones vigentes que puedan considerarse o sean relevantes en el país.</p>

			<p>El contenido del trabajo comienza con una breve descripción de la interseccionalidad, ya que es usada como referente teórico o cómo categoría en diversos artículos de GWO; posteriormente se describe el procedimiento metodológico, para luego presentar los resultados del trabajo bibliométrico; por último, se cierra con las conclusiones.</p>

		</sec>

		<sec>

			<title>2. Aproximación teórica al tema de interseccionalidad</title>

			<p>La interseccionalidad surge como una forma de análisis de diferentes fenómenos de exclusión y discriminación, específicamente en Estados Unidos en los años setenta (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B34">Cubillos, 2015</xref>), fenómeno analizado de manera profunda por diferentes autores como Crenshaw y Collins en 1989 (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B116">Sale, 2017</xref>) contextualizando sobre la intersección entre género y raza inicialmente y cómo se profundizaban las problemáticas cuando se presentaba la condición de ser mujer negra.</p>

			<p>El tema trata de la “pluralización de los sistemas de poder dentro de la estructura social” (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B116">Sale, 2017</xref>, p. 233), tomando en cuenta los diferentes focos de opresión, que se articulan con otros, lo cual es complejo, pero más cercano a la realidad para el análisis de las problemáticas sociales incluyendo las relacionadas con género, ya que incluyen la heterogeneidad de la población.</p>

			<p>En cuanto a las categorías que incluye la interseccionalidad, estas varían de acuerdo con el estudio y la importancia de las mismas en un contexto determinado; inicialmente se incluían género y raza, pero se han ido agregando otras que llevan a análisis más aproximados a la profundización de la opresión en determinados países, como lo son: clase social, religión, sexualidad, país de origen (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Abdellatif et al., 2020</xref>), estatus migratorio (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B33">Coffey et al., 2021</xref>) e incluso condiciones de discapacidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B65">Haynes, 2020</xref>).</p>

			<p>Esta teoría ha servido en distintos contextos para el análisis de las inequidades presentadas en distintos contextos; en el caso de Brasil, la profesora <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B23">Cerqueira (2016)</xref> analiza las diferencias presentadas en las condiciones de la mujer en lo que se denomina techo de cristal, que corresponde a la falta de oportunidad (barreras invisibles), para acceder a cargos directivos dentro de las organizaciones; sin embargo, lo analiza desde la interseccionalidad proponiendo que el techo de cristal desde otra perspectiva es un techo de vitral, representando una amplia gama de colores que representan la variedad de barreras si se contemplan otras categorías como raza y condición social, por ejemplo.</p>

		</sec>

		<sec sec-type="methods">

			<title>3. Metodología</title>

			<p>A partir de una metodología cuantitativa, específicamente un desarrollo bibliométrico, reconocida como la medición de los resultados científicos y de la evaluación de la ciencia (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B47">Faggiolani, 2015</xref>), de tal manera se responde la pregunta de investigación ¿Cuáles son las temáticas y las características de los artículos publicados en GWO Gender, Work and Organizations entre los años 2020 y 2022.</p>

			<p>La bibliometría permite identificar, organizar y sistematizar conceptos en un área, con el fin de evidenciar puntos de discusión académica en el período de estudio (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B30">Chueke &amp; Amatucci, 2022</xref>), en este caso las tendencias actuales; por otra parte, se generan indicadores para identificar temáticas, autores, instituciones, metodologías aplicadas, entre otros, percibiendo la producción intelectual (artículos científicos) como base del avance científico (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B30">Chueke &amp; Amatucci, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B27">Chamorro &amp; Irausquin, 2021</xref>), que particularmente en este caso corresponde a los trabajos publicados en temas organizacionales relacionados con estudios de género.</p>

			<p>La fuente de información es documental, a partir de la revisión de la totalidad de los artículos publicados en GWO, que corresponde a una revista de la base de datos Wiley Online Library; se incluyen los documentos de los tres últimos años (2020-julio de 2022), se recopilan, se resume la información más relevante y se hace un análisis temático de cada uno, con el fin de establecer tendencias de las publicaciones en esta revista internacional. El procedimiento metodológico se sistematiza de la siguiente forma (<xref ref-type="fig" rid="f1">Figura 1</xref>):</p>

			<title>4. Resultados</title>

			<p>Durante el período enero de 2020 a junio de 2022 la revista GWO publicó 318 artículos ubicados en 18 volúmenes. La <xref ref-type="fig" rid="f2">Figura 2</xref> muestra la distribución de estos según el año de publicación, destacando que en 2021 se publicaron 173 artículos debido a que se desarrollaron 2 volúmenes especiales en relación con el género y el Covid-19. Todos los documentos publicados han ayudado a entender y explicar la relevancia y los derechos de las mujeres en los escenarios organizacionales, académicos, de investigación y otros. Dicha información es soportada en los documentos de <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B68">Jeanes &amp; Janes, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B15">Bissett &amp; Birch, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B81">Klein, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B95">Miller, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B98">Moskos, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B88">Maaranen &amp; Tienari, 2020</xref>.</p>

			<p>Posteriormente, la <xref ref-type="fig" rid="f3">Figura 3</xref> destaca la participación de autores tomando en cuenta el sexo en relación con dichas publicaciones. Se observa que de 318 artículos existen 712 autores, los hombres representan 40% mientras las mujeres 60%, destacando que el sexo femenino es el más preocupado por este tipo de temáticas, quizá pueda deberse a que este género ha sido el que ha tenido que luchar contra los factores de discriminación organizacional, la segmentación del trabajo, las brechas salariales, las violencias, entre múltiples problemas (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B87">Lupu, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B89">Mählck, Kusterer &amp; Montgomery, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B101">Nash &amp; Churchill, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B104">O’Shea, 2022</xref>; Parry &amp; Gordon, 2021, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B124">Starr, 2022</xref>).</p>

			<p>De manera similar, se consideró importante hacer un recuento de autores por artículo, descubriendo que 37% de los documentos publicados fueron desarrollados por un solo autor, en razón de que gran parte de estas investigaciones son narraciones personales, etnografías y autoetnografías; no obstante, también se reflejan altas cantidades de artículos desarrollados entre 2, 3 y 4 investigadores, quienes han desarrollado dichos trabajos mediante entrevistas, encuestas, revisión documental y otros tipos de recolección de información (ver la <xref ref-type="table" rid="t1">Tabla 1</xref>).</p>

			<p>A partir de la <xref ref-type="table" rid="t2">Tabla 2</xref> se logra demostrar que en el escenario internacional muchas instituciones alrededor del mundo han incorporado los asuntos de género dentro de sus estructura organizacional y académica, vinculando problemáticas antes no contempladas en sus temas de investigación (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B114">Rowlands, Blackmore &amp; Gallant, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B6">Alcadipani et al., 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B9">Amstutz et al., 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B24">Cervi &amp; Brewis, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B35">Cutcher, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B55">Grace, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B117">Sayers &amp; Martin, 2021</xref>). <p>No obstante, fue importante determinar qué países lideran la producción académica en las publicaciones de la GWO en el período de estudio. Ante ello, es pertinente resaltar que algunos de los países hallados en esta categoría no se ubican en la <xref ref-type="table" rid="t2">Tabla 2</xref>, esto se debe a que existen publicaciones del mismo país trabajadas desde diferentes universidades. Un ejemplo de ello es Australia, que mediante la nacionalidad de los autores se detectó que se abordaron 45 trabajos en este país; sin embargo, esta nación no se visibiliza en la tabla 2 porque los autores fueron abordados desde diferentes universidades. Ante ello, se resalta que la tabla en mención solo muestra las universidades que publicaron desde 6 artículos en adelante, esto demuestra que ninguna institución en Australia durante este período de tiempo publicó más de 6 artículos.</p>

			<p>En correspondencia, la <xref ref-type="fig" rid="f4">Figura 4</xref> ilustra que Inglaterra, Estados Unidos y Australia han publicado más de 40 artículos, mientras que Canadá, Francia y Finlandia desarrollaron más de 15 documentos; finalmente, se sitúan países como Nueva Zelanda, Irlanda y Suecia, que tienen por lo menos 10 publicaciones sobre género. Estos resultados van de la mano con un gran número de oportunidades de apoyo y de inversión por parte del gobierno de cada nación para avivar en los grupos de investigación los trabajos que tienen enfoque de género desde diferentes miradas y perspectivas (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B28">Cherneski, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B52">Gardiner &amp; Fulfer, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B67">Janse &amp; Smith, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B134">Woods et al., 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B82">Knoppers et al., 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B94">Mejia, Balangoy &amp; Katoch, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B119">Shymko et al., 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B109">Pike &amp; English, 2022</xref>).</p>

			<p>De acuerdo con estos datos es importante resaltar la necesidad de presentar resultados de investigaciones referentes a género y organizaciones realizados en otros contextos, ya que las publicaciones se centran en unos pocos países europeos, de Norteamérica y Australia, dejando de lado contextos latinoamericanos, africanos y asiáticos, en los cuales la interseccionalidad cobra mayor importancia por las inequidades más profundas de los contextos.</p>

			<p>Posteriormente se identificaron las categorías que abordan la producción científica de la revista GWO. Para ello fue necesario leer y analizar los documentos en aras de fortalecer la discusión. Seguidamente se sistematizaron los artículos en 12 temáticas, donde la más utilizada para el desarrollo de las investigaciones publicadas fue la de diversos temas de género (ver la <xref ref-type="table" rid="t3">Tabla 3</xref>), además de unos subtemas identificados (ver la <xref ref-type="table" rid="t4">Tabla 4</xref>).</p>

			<p>Dentro de los resultados se identificaron las tendencias de investigación actuales en los temas de género, hallando así 12 temáticas y 53 subtemas; en este sentido, el porcentaje de participación por temática de mayor a menor es el siguiente: temas diversos de género (34%), feminismo (12%), interseccionalidad (10%) y diversidad (10%), cuidado (6%), masculinidad (6%), género femenino (5%), trabajo (5%), maternidad (4%), brechas (4%), enfoques de inclusión (3%), encarnación (1%). Se resalta que de los 318 artículos, 72 abordaron problemáticas relacionadas con la pandemia por Covid -19 como: violencia doméstica producto de las acciones de aislamiento tomadas por los gobiernos (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B113">Rodriguez, Power &amp; Glynn, 2021</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B133">Wilcox et al., 2021</xref>); así mismo, las condiciones de división del trabajo doméstico que se desprendieron del teletrabajo (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B32">Çoban, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B50">Garcia,2022a</xref>) y el cuidado desarrollado en ámbitos familiares y de trabajo (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B60">Hales &amp; Tyler, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B79">Kipp &amp; Hawkins, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B56">Greene, Dean, Bartley &amp; McAvinchey, 2022</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B92">Martel et al., 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B121">Smith, 2022</xref>).</p>

			<p>Continuando con aquellos estudios que describieron y ampliaron la mirada de la pandemia se evidenciaron investigaciones que narran y comentan el ámbito laboral de la academia con la sobrecarga laboral en un escenario desconocido a nivel mundial (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B43">Docka &amp; Stone, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B111">Plotnikof &amp; Utoft, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B85">Lafaire, Soini &amp; Grünbaum, 2022</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B38">Davis et al., 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Alexander, 2022</xref>). Allí la maternidad y paternidad recuperan su lugar dentro de la nueva cotidianidad, lo que dificulta el equilibrio vida - trabajo (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B2">Abdellatif &amp; Gatto, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B31">Clancy, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B58">Güney-Frahm, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B59">Guy, &amp; Arthur, 2020</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B4">Akuoko, Aggrey &amp; Mengba, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B18">Bowyer et al., 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B72">Kasymova, et al., 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B105">Özdemir, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B129">Wagner et al., 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B132">Whiley, Sayer &amp; Juanchich, 2021</xref>). En cuanto a las discusiones sobre igualdad y paridad de género también se procura identificar los escenarios, las posibilidades y las consecuencias del momento en los derechos de hombres y mujeres (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B54">Górska et al., 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B39">De Aguiar, Sales, Haque &amp; Bender, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B70">Johnson, 2022</xref>).</p>

			<p>Para la temática de feminismo se destacó la subtemática escritura feminista, en la cual se da espacio a la narración personal para contar sobre experiencias, reflexionar en torno al contexto y presentar una mirada propia sobre los problemas que la sociedad moderna trae en materia de teoría (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B11">Averett, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B15">Bisset, &amp; Birch, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B16">Blanchard, 2022</xref>), organizaciones, mercado laboral y género (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B120">Silva, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B80">Kivinen, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B128">Valtonen &amp; Pullen, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B78">Kinnunen, Wallenius- Korkalo &amp; Rantala, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B91">Mandalaki, 2021b</xref>). A su vez se identifican los activismos feministas de distintas mujeres (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B71">Karam &amp; Afiouni, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B14">Benozzo et al., 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B84">Kumar &amp; Kamble, 2022</xref>) y países para el conocimiento del entorno.</p>

			<p>Con relación al enfoque de interseccionalidad que se ubicó como una temática de estudio, se observa que hay una mayor apertura bajo este concepto sobre la diversidad de la “mujer” y el “hombre”, pues considera al individuo con unas características que lo sitúan dentro de un grupo social, que antes había sido ignorada. También aparece como temática de análisis de diferentes categorías como racismo (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B46">Edeh, Riley &amp; Kokot-Blamey, 2022</xref>, <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B7">Alexander, 2022</xref>), etnia (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B105">Özdemir, 2022</xref>), identidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B74">Kele et al., 2022</xref>), migrantes (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B123">Spitzer, 2022</xref>), mercado laboral (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B90">Maier, &amp; Gilchrist, 2022</xref>), trabajo doméstico (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B61">Ham &amp; Ceradoy, 2022</xref>), cuidado (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B102">Navallo, 2022</xref>) entre otros. A su vez se incluyen dos estudios efectuados en el contexto de la pandemia de Covid 19, período en que aumentan las inequidades y se evidenció que los atributos o categorías inciden en la exclusión y la desigualdad en el mundo, incluyendo problemáticas asociadas al género.</p>

			<p>Se destacan nuevas apuestas de investigación en la temática diversidad, como lo demostraron los trabajos publicados sobre personas trans (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B100">Narendran, Reveley &amp; Almeida,2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B68">Jeanes &amp; Janes 2021</xref>), masculinidades (paternidad, vida personal, fertilidad e infertilidad) (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B41">Dinh &amp; Tienari, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B26">Chaudhry &amp; Amis, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B69">Johansson, Andersson &amp; Johansson, 2022</xref>), maternidad neoliberal (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B18">Bowyer et al., 2022</xref>),paternidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B40">Dickson &amp; Dickson, 2021</xref>), relaciones de cuerpos - organización (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B104">O’Shea, 2022</xref>), interseccionalidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B105">Özdemir, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B107">Parker et al., 2022</xref>) y encarnación (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B112">Quah &amp; Ridgway, 2022</xref>) (ver la <xref ref-type="table" rid="t4">Tabla 4</xref>). Son pocos los artículos publicados sobre los asuntos antes mencionados; sin embargo, se muestran como escenarios emergentes de investigación.</p>

			<p>Las temáticas cuidado, maternidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B125">Stumbitz &amp; Jaga, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B76">Kerrane, Banister &amp; Wijaya, 2022</xref>), brechas, enfoques de inclusión (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B108">Petrucci, 2020</xref>), género femenino y trabajo (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B93">Maunganidze &amp; Bonnin, 2021</xref>) se consideran escenarios tradicionales de investigación que siguen siendo vigentes por la falta de conocimiento de contextos no anglosajones y no democráticos que están siendo visibilizados por estudios que describen el panorama de las situaciones que viven hombres y mujeres dentro de las ocupaciones tradicionales y no tradicionales(<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B126">Sturges 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B135">Yu &amp; Jyawali, 2021</xref>), evidenciando procesos de discriminación (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B22">Castagnetti, Rosti &amp; Töpfer, 2020</xref>) y esteretipos que dan cuenta de la hostilidad que se presenta en torno a los atributos de los individuos por su pertenencia a ciertos grupos.</p>

			<p>Como indica la <xref ref-type="table" rid="t5">Tabla 5</xref>, en términos de recolección de información se encontraron múltiples estrategias utilizadas desde el enfoque de investigación cualitativo y mixto. Destacando que el método más utilizado fueron las entrevistas, representadas en 35% (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B103">Netto et al., 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B75">Kemp &amp; Berkovitch, 2020</xref>), seguido de la estrategia de revisión documental, narración personal, etnografías y encuestas (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B12">Bahn et al., 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B42">Dobusch &amp; Kreissl, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B122">Spence-Mitchell, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B37">Daskalaki, 2021</xref>. Por tanto, los autores han tenido una mayor motivación por descubrir o por crear nuevos conocimientos a partir del análisis, la observación y la experiencia, identificando de manera más específica y concreta las tensiones y problemas que afronta el campo contable</p>

			<p>Paralelamente, fue pertinente encontrar los tipos de análisis que escogieron las investigaciones publicadas para analizar la información. Indudablemente, se encontraron análisis utilizados comúnmente en este tipo de investigaciones como fue el interpretativo (52%), crítico (12%), temático (11%), de contenido (7%) y del discurso (5%). Sin embargo, se hallaron también algunos análisis poco convencionales como entendimiento empático, escritura monstruosa, análisis interseccional, metasíntesis, entre otros (ver la <xref ref-type="table" rid="t6">Tabla 6</xref>).</p>

			<title>5. Conclusiones</title>

			<p>Los artículos analizados muestran claramente que hay una tendencia predominante de los académicos y académicas a utilizar estrategias de recolección de datos cualitativas que contribuyen a describir, caracterizar, identificar, reconstruir y contextualizar vivencias, experiencias y situaciones que son objeto de estudio. En este sentido, sobresale la entrevista como una técnica indispensable para recolección de información, a la cual se suman la narración personal y la etnografía, que permiten a los investigadores captar momentos puntuales que conectan a los lectores sobre aquellos elementos indispensables para entender la problemática y revivir los hechos narrados en los artículos.</p>

			<p>No se puede dejar de lado que hay un antes y un después de la pandemia generada por el Covid-19 en la historia de la humanidad, dado que el siglo XXI quedó marcado por el aislamiento social y el teletrabajo, dos condiciones que abrieron un espacio para explorar situaciones inusuales en los estudios de género y del mercado laboral (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B10">Arora &amp; Majumder, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B11">Averett, 2021</xref>). Del total de los artículos, 72 hicieron parte de los números especiales de la revista, pero también se encontró que hubo alusión de los trabajos postpandemia, de las consecuencias producto de las nuevas condiciones de trabajo determinadas por las organizaciones después del confinamiento, señalando nuevos panoramas de estudio.</p>

			<p>La revista GWO es un espacio de publicación versátil que recoge la diversidad no solo temática sino también invita a nuevas formas de sentir a través de la escritura de micromomentos que recogen las dinámicas inmersas en un sistema capitalista que va mutando con las necesidades de cada época. Por lo que llama la atención a valorar los trabajos de etnografía, autoetnografía y narración personal que contribuyen a conectar con elementos de la privacidad de hombres y mujeres que son visibilizados a partir de estos trabajos de investigación. Es decir, logra captar la sensibilidad de los involucrados y entrega perspectivas amplias sobre los problemas estudiados.</p>

			<p>Aunque los estudios sobre género y trabajo en las organizaciones han tenido una alta demanda dentro de la comunidad académica desde las diferentes áreas de conocimiento, se pudo identificar que sigue existiendo una necesidad de explorar contextos no anglosajones (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B21">Byun &amp; Won, 2020</xref>) y no democráticos (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B13">Banerjee &amp; Memon, 2022</xref>), en donde la realidad sobre diversidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B110">Plotnikof, 2022</xref>), inclusión (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B19">Burchiellaro, 2021</xref>), paridad de género (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B130">Weatherall, 2020</xref>), masculinidades (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B63">Hanna, Gough &amp; Markham, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B131">Weller, Clarke &amp; Brown, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B29">Choi &amp; Li, 2021</xref>), interseccionalidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B106">Ozturk, Rumens &amp; Tatli, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B5">Alberti &amp; Iannuzzi, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B17">Bourabain, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B51">Garcia, 2022b</xref>), identidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B77">Ketchum, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B13">Banerjee &amp; Memon, 2022</xref>), cuerpos (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B20">Burns et al., 2022</xref>), encarnación (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B36">Damianidou &amp; Georgiadou, 2021</xref>), liminalidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B44">Doshi, 2022</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B66">Jamjoom, 2022</xref>), vida íntima y emocional de los hombres en razón de fertilidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B62">Hanna &amp; Gough, 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B57">Griffiths, 2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B115">Sandager, 2021</xref>), hipermasculinidad (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B3">Ajibade Adisa, Mordi, Simpson &amp; Iwowo, 2021</xref>) cobra nuevos matices que podrían nutrir la discusión de los problemas de género donde se ha pensado que se ha ganado más terreno, pero siguen existiendo focos no visibilizados de discriminación y violencia en la sociedad actual. Es así como temáticas emergentes sobre diversidad e identidad sexual siguen siendo un asunto poco abordado en el ámbito organizacional, contable y de los negocios (<xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B45">Dray et al., 2020</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B100">Narendran, Reveley &amp; Almeida,2021</xref>; <xref ref-type="bibr" rid="B68">Jeanes &amp; Janes 2021</xref>).</p>
